RECAP OF HAPPENINGS IN 2008

Since 2008 is about to come to a close, I shall recap everything that's happened this year. (I did this last year too) Found all these in my previous posts/my own references.

Let's go down memory lane..

JANUARY

First day of school ;
Sec 3!
Boys in long pants, different. Haha.
New class/teachers/subjects.

Started to know the names of classmates.
"FULL COMMITMENT - DAMAI!"
Remember that? HAHAHA. When was the last time
we had to do that anyway? xD

Class photo-taking ;
A surprise one. I thought that I blinked for one of
the photos. But I didn't. Haha.

Sec 3 camp ;
These three days were, to me, the most memorable this year, as a class.
Maybe even 3 of the best days of this year. (I miss it a lot!)
The class campfire performance was very funny.
"Where's the bonding?" Yeah, where did it go? :P


FEBRUARY

CCA ;
Met the new juniors, mostly boys.
Talkative and chaotic bunch of people.

Valentines Day ;
Nothing much, but a few people gave the class stuff (cards/sweets/etc).

Idris kept singing Cinta Arjuna, then I grew to love the song. Haha.
Had many tests this month.

Leap Year ;
There was an extra day this year.
February 29! Once every 4 years.


MARCH

The Leap Years movie ;
Supposed to be class outing (?) Only 9 people turned up.
Loved the movie.

St Luke's Eldercare ;
First visit there, for English project.
Brought the elderly to the supermarket and back. Had to clean the store room.
I hope i didn't make a big mistake.

Flag Day ;
First ever flag day. The best place to collect is at Simei.

Horoscope ;
My true horoscope is Scorpio! Not Sagittarius actually.
Because of the earth's movement bla bla.

Sports Day ;
Tug-o-war was laaaame.
Was being baked under the sun. Nyeh, at least i got points for it.

Ankle sprain ;
First ever too. Had MC for a week. Hurt a lot -.-

Botanical Gardens ;
4 people chosen to go for it from the class, part of MT week.
Was free that day so I went for it. Quite fun eh, I guess.

Earth Hour ;
Save the Earth! Switched off the lights for 1 hour.


APRIL

April Fools Day ;
I fell for the "your skirt is not zipped" prank at school. Lol! -.-

F&N ;
Group work. Was laughing a lot because of
the "farting" thing. Hahahaha, good times, good times.

NAPFA test ;
Managed to past everything except standing broad jump.
Heck, I could never pass that, ever.

Specs ;
Got my new purple specs :D Looove.

Farewell party ;
For Raeesah who was going to change to another school.
The whole class wrote well wishes on a paper for her.

Earth Day ;
Yeah. Also the day I was extremely late for school cos it rained heavily.


MAY

Mother's Day ;
Special event, ate at Swensens.

Mid-Year exams ;
Quite satisfied with my results.

A-Mathzing Race ;
Same group as Rabia, Naqiyah, and Rafidah.
Even though we didn't complete it, had a lot of fun!
My group won Best Proposal. Unexpected xP


JUNE

Holidays ;
Full of outings with friends/family and such.

Back to school ;
F&N workshop. Roasted the chicken.
After clearing the organs and.. juice. Bleargh.
Makes me want to puke thinking about it.
Okay, moving on.

The rest is more school.


JULY

Study hour started.

Racial Harmony Day ;
Decorated the class (3e4 won for the competition!)
Wore ethnic costume to school~!

Watched the 2 hour series finale on the comp.
Was awesome! :D

Rabia's birthday ;
Sabo-ed her after school.
That was fun! Could've asked more people though.

Rafidah's birthday ;
Our "plan" backfired.
We made a video for her! Gave her presents.


AUGUST

There was a solar eclipse, couldn't be seen from Singapore.

Cool date ;
08.08.08, also my 118th post.

Cross country ;
Lazy to run so walked/jogged with a teacher and Patricia.

National Day ;
Singapore's 43rd birthday. :D The NDP was sort of boring, no offense.

Sister's birthday & meeting nephew ;
Met Heindrea, from Spain, haven't seen him for around 4 years.
Birthday surprised my sister with cake.

Skipping ;
All the TAF people had to go to SAFRA to take part
in breaking the world record for mass consecutive skipping.
Got points for that. The rest at school did the Aces Day dance.

Teachers' Day ;
The concert performances were really entertaining! The "modelling" thing too. xD


SEPTEMBER

Fasting month ;
Started as the holidays did.

Hm, nothing much for this month.
School school, many remedials, EOY started.


OCTOBER

Hari Raya/Childrens Day ;
Wooot :D Family went white.
Not as fun as previous years, maybe cause exams were just around the corner.

EOY exams ;
Mixed feelings with all the papers.

Movie event ;
My aunt booked tickets. Chinese movie, english subtitles. Free popcorn/drink!

EOY results ;
Sort of satisfied with it. I have to improve!

Jalan Raya ;
With classmates. Had the most fun at Mdm Yani's house!
Another day, to Revalina's open house which was very far.
They karaoked, really nice.

Leadership workshop ;
Catwalk/monkey game/games at atrium. Tamil Tigers?! xD
Enjoyed the whole thing a lot more than I thought.

Dragon boat ;
Was fun to the max! Wish the class could do it again.

Promotion ;
Everyone in the class promoted to 4e4 2009. :D That's good.

Hanging out with gang ;
Watched High School Musical 3!
Cannot-make-it jumpshots.

Went to Yuyu's house.
Played with her super cute brother!

2 weeks extended programme started.


NOVEMBER

Drama workshop ;
With e1/e2. Was very fun! Laughed a lot.
Lucky enough to get the lead girl part. -.-

Official last day of school ;
After extended programme. School's out! :D
Never missed a day of school this year.

Boredom ;
First few weeks of holidays were pure torture.
Because everyone wasn't free, staying at home was so boring! -.-

Birthday ;
I finally turned 15! :D
Wishes/presents REALLY appreciated.

Birthday ;
My mother's __ years YOUNG.
Haha! :D


DECEMBER

Back-to-school fair ;
At Hougang. Bought a lot of stuff for next year.

Religious class exam ;
Hard! Gaaah. But my results were shocking.
Have a feeling the teacher marked (very) leniently.

Hari Raya Haji ;
Visited my grandparents.

Survivor Gabon ;
Bob wonnnnnn! :D Hahaha yay!

Christmas ;
Out with Soi/Exim, didn't end up doing much homework. Hah.

Escape Theme Park ;
With Soi/Exim/her uncle.
Promotion price. Loved the rides, screamed a lot! :D
Birthday ;
My brother turned 12!

Woah, some year, eh? Full of ups and downs and everything.
Still, 2008 was a good year. More eventful and maybe better than last year.
