Out with Phyd and Rosh on Saturday!

Since the outing was for Phyd's advanced birthday celebration, Rosh and I made up a bulletproof plan (at least... we thought it would be)

Expectations:
- Rosh would tell Phyd that she can't make it
- I would meet Phyd at MRT station
- Rosh would bring the cake we baked to Swensens first
- We would go eat lunch, Rosh would surprise Phyd there
- After watching Harry Potter, we would go to Swensens and eat dessert where we would surprise her with the cake
- Rosh and I would be extremely proud that everything worked out fine


Reality:
- Left a lot later than planned
- Made up a lot of excuses to Phyd to delay
- Swensens wouldn't help keep the cake
- Didn't eat lunch before the movie
- Had to lie that I didn't bring confirmation slip to buy time (since Rosh had it)
- No surprise, Phyd saw Rosh from far
- Phyd saw the cake already, another non-surprise
- Ended up eating over-priced food ($8 for 1 plate of rice WTF) at the food court and cut the cake there

As you would have guessed...
The plan failed miserably.
and it is all Swensen's fault

The upside to it was that we had an amazing view of the fireworks from the NDP preview. And we had fun just spending time and talking together, and that's what's the most important! :D
